It is very important that you mark segments as translated/corrected as you complete them in CrossWeb. Marking individual segments as translated/corrected is the only way that the segment is stored in the Translation Memory so not doing so will cause issues. If you wait until you are finished with the entire task to mark all as translated or corrected, instead of changing the state as you go, it will lead to inconsistent translations. If the segments aren’t set to the final state they won’t be added to the TM so you won’t be able to do a concordance search on terms in other parts of the document and fuzzy matches within the document will not be visible. For example, if you translate “Park the machine in a stable, level area” and you don’t mark as translated after you translate it, then further in the document when a similar sentence appears “Park the machine(s) in a stable, level area” you will not see the memory match. Please mark the segments as you go and it will save you time and ensure proper consistency.

Click Ctrl+Alt+Enter to mark the segment in its final state (translated or corrected). Using that shortcut will bring you to the next untranslated/corrected segment.
