We recently posted about cutting and pasting from the TM matches window or other areas of the screen in crossWeb being punishable by death and dismemberment.

This video shows the proper way to copy tm matches and the source text into the editor window. The video even shows you how to use the autoreplace function in crossWeb for funky characters like the copyright symbol, trademark symbol, etc.

Seriously though, copying and pasting text from other areas of the screen and placing that text into the text editor box causes serious corruption in the final file! HTML half-width spaces are introduced and those spaces are not found by search and replace and have to be deleted manually!
